What are the responsibilities and job description for the Security Officer position at Secured Arms Security?
We are seeking experienced and detail-oriented Security Officers to join our team in the Metro Detroit Area. Our Security Officers monitor property and people. The Security Officers need to stay alert and be able to react quickly and professionally to emergency situations and have a working knowledge of local laws and ordinances. Officers must conduct themselves in a professional manner while on-site. You will be required to legally carry a firearm, and must be knowledgeable on gun safety and laws. You will also be required to pass a strict background check.
Responsibilities:
- Use correct body language and tone of voice in interactions with clients and others.
- Assist clients with security-related questions or concerns.
- Stay alert and conduct routine on-site patrols.
- Conduct physical searches for any missing items or equipment.
- Maintain logs of any incidents.
- Provide security checks and patrols.
Work location varies around the Metro Detroit Area
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
- Law enforcement: 1 year (Preferred)

- TWIC Card (Preferred)
- Driver's License (Required)
- Michigan CPL (Required)
