Job Summary
Join our team as a Part Time Security Guard and become a vital protector of our facilities! Duties
- Monitor surveillance systems such as CCTV cameras to oversee activity across the premises and identify potential security threats.
- Control access by verifying identities of employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors, ensuring only authorized personnel enter designated areas.
- Conduct routine patrols of the property to check for suspicious activity, safety hazards, or unauthorized access.
- Respond promptly to alarms or emergency situations, including medical incidents requiring first aid or CPR if necessary.
- Enforce security policies and manage conflicts or disturbances with professionalism and calmness.
- Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incident reports, and security breaches for record-keeping and follow-up actions.
- Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency responders during critical incidents to ensure swift resolution.
Experience
- Prior experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of surveillance equipment such as CCTV systems and loss prevention techniques is a plus.
- Certification in first aid, CPR, or conflict management enhances your ability to respond effectively in emergencies.
- Strong observational skills with attention to detail in monitoring environments and detecting irregularities.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure while managing conflicts professionally.
- Familiarity with security protocols, loss prevention strategies, and basic law enforcement procedures is advantageous.
