Maintenance Mechanic/Millwright

Sebasticook Lumber is looking for a Maintenance person / Millwright. The job responsibilities to include but not limited to the following:

Diagnose malfunctioning equipment and correct the problem with the least downtime possible, then follow up to make sure the problem doesn't occur in the future.

Diagnose electrical issues, knowledge of working with 480V power, PLCs, VFD's,sawmill electrical components is a plus, but not required.

Use a variety of tools and equipment such as computer, welder, pressure gauges, power tools, and other testing equipment.

Troubleshoot, maintain and repair mechanical, electrical control, pneumatic systems, hydraulic systems, etc..

Responsible for ensuring that machine maintenance, projects, and PM's are completed in a timely fashion.

Must be independently driven, organized, and work well with others.

Other duties as needed by the business.

Work hours can be flexible, but are generally Monday through Friday 6:30 am to 4:00 pm some weekends/late nights as needed to ensure the mill is running.

Benefits are flexible based on experience.

Experience:

• Sawmill Maintenance: 1 year (Preferred)
• Mechanical knowledge: 5 years (Required)
