KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Repair and maintain motors, conveyor systems, pneumatic tools, and production
machinery
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and replace defective parts
- Inspect, align, adjust, and test machinery components
- Fabricate and machine parts for mill equipment
- Operate welders, grinders, drill presses, and lathes
- Perform preventative maintenance to minimize downtime
- Read and interpret manuals, diagrams, and specifications
- Follow company safety procedures and operational policies
QUALIFICATIONS
- 3–5 years of industrial maintenance or millwright experience
- Trade/vocational school preferred
- Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge
- Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, and machining preferred
- Sawmill experience is a plus
- Ability to prioritize work and respond quickly to maintenance needs
- Willingness to work overtime as needed
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 100 lbs
- Comfortable working in confined spaces, heights, loud/dusty environments, and
extreme temperatures
- Dependable, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and team-focused
