JOB DESCRIPTION
As Document Control, you will report to the Sr. Project Manager and will be involved with responsibility for project coordination, from initiation of project until closeout. Serving as a point of communication for the Company and Clients. You will also be responsible for expediting, creating, managing, and maintaining project documentation for the project. Ensure the project team has access to the latest revisions in a timely manner.
Develops and implements document control processes and procedures.
Manages document revisions and ensures the latest version is available.
Maintains document control database and files.
Coordinates document review and approval processes.
Ensures compliance with company and legal document management requirements.
Provides training to staff on document control procedures.
Resolves document control issues and conflicts.
Archives and disposing of outdated documents.
- Four-year Bachelor's degree
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience as document controller in offshore oil & gas industry
- Proven experience as a Document Controller.
- Knowledge of document management systems and software.
- Advance experience with Microsoft Project
- A high degree of proficiency MS Office Suite, Outlook & Internet applications; Advanced Microsoft Excel and database manipulation skills
- Self-motivated with critical attention to details and deadlines
- Impeccable communication skills verbal and written and time management skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality work both independently and work collaboratively.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Capable of performing the following essential physical demands:
Must be able to sit for extended periods of time.
Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds from floor to waist
Must be able to perform single-handed carry up to 15 pounds
Must be able to perform two-handed carry up to 50 pounds
Must be able to operate motor vehicles with current valid driver’s license
Must be able to walk on various terrain
Depth perception
Color vision/perception
Hearing of sounds and speech within normal frequency/range
Must be able to communicate in written and oral form
Must be able to travel
