Duties
- Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, adhering to recipes and presentation standards.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to promote sales and enhance their overall experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
- Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for accurate order processing, cash handling, and sales recording.
- Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible serving practices, especially in nightclub or banquet settings.
- Restock bar supplies efficiently during shifts to ensure smooth service flow.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff for food service coordination during catering or banquet events.
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, particularly within fine dining or nightclub settings.
- Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient transaction processing.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders quickly during busy hours.
- Exceptional customer service abilities to create welcoming atmospheres and foster guest loyalty.
- Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Experience in serving alcohol responsibly, including knowledge of alcohol laws and responsible beverage service practices.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and accurate billing. Candidates with prior banquet experience, catering background, retail math proficiency, or hospitality expertise will find this role especially rewarding.
