Overview
Join our amazing team as a bartender, at Birdies Cabaret Theater & Lounge where your energy and enthusiasm will create memorable experiences for our guests. In this role, you will craft delicious beverages, prepare food, provide exceptional customer service, and ensure a lively, welcoming atmosphere. We all pretty much do everything. We host event six nights a week ranging from Karaoke, Trivia, Drag, Burlesque, Magic, Music, Stand Up Comedy and so much more. Starting pay will be $11 an hour plus tips.
Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently using Aloha POS
- Engage with guests to understand their preferences, recommend drinks, and promote specials to enhance sales.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling standards at all times.
- Manage cash handling responsibilities, including cashiering and processing payments swiftly and accurately.
- Monitor guest behavior in nightclubs setting to ensure safety and compliance with alcohol service regulations.
- Restock bar supplies, ingredients, and glassware regularly to ensure smooth operations during busy hours., ensuring timely delivery of drinks and food.
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs or banquet halls.
- Strong knowledge of Aloha POS for efficient order processing and sales tracking.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally.
- Effective time management skills to handle multiple orders during peak hours without compromising quality.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math for sales transactions, and accurate measurement of ingredients for drink recipes.
- Familiarity with food safety standards, food handling procedures, and alcohol serving regulations.
Pay: $11.00 - $12.00 per hour
