Accounting Assistant / Bookkeeper – Hybrid Remote Opportunity

What You’ll Do
Perform monthly bank reconciliations for 30 entities and individuals. Record daily financial transactions and update the general ledger in real time.
Organize and digitally file financial documents, including:
o Insurance policies
o Notices
o Invoices
Complete annual compliance filings:
o 1099s
o Annual LLC registrations
o Business license renewals
Assist the Controller with overall accounting tasks.
Perform other appropriate duties and projects as assigned by the Controller.
What You’ll Bring
- A minimum of 4 years of bookkeeping experience
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite.
- A service-oriented mindset, trustworthiness, discretion, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
- The capability to work independently while contributing to a team.
Preferred Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field is preferred although experience will be considered in lieu of degree
