We are seeking two highly detail-oriented Contract Discovery Analysts to join a growing team within a niche financial services environment. This role is ideal for candidates with a medical or dental background who are looking to transition into a specialized analytical and client-facing position. Extensive on-the-job training will be provided.
The Discovery Analyst plays a key role in the early stages of the client lifecycle—conducting intake conversations, assessing eligibility, and determining whether clients should advance to the quantitative analysis team.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct introductory phone calls with medical and dental professionals to gather information and assess program eligibility.
- Review client details with strong attention to accuracy, documentation, and data entry.
- Evaluate whether prospective clients meet program criteria and determine next steps.
- Collaborate closely with the lead Discovery Analyst and internal teams to ensure smooth handoff of qualified clients.
- Maintain organized records and utilize Microsoft Office tools for tracking and reporting.
- Represent the organization professionally in all client interactions.
Required Qualifications
- Medical or dental industry experience is required (e.g., medical assistant, dental assistant, plastic surgery office staff, medical CSR).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
- Excellent communication skills and comfort speaking with clients over the phone.
- Ability to learn quickly in a highly specialized and niche field.
- Basic understanding of tax-related concepts is helpful but not required.
Preferred Background
- Experience in medical or dental practices, including plastic surgery offices.
- Customer service experience within a healthcare setting.
- Familiarity with intake processes or eligibility screening.
Additional Details
- On-site role, Monday through Friday.
- Contract duration: approximately 641 hours with potential for hire.
