Job Overview:
Search Solution Group is seeking a Contract Discovery Analyst on behalf of our client, a company that specializes in designing systems, documentation, and controls to support compliant, repeatable R&D tax credit positions. This role is essential in managing the discovery phase of client engagements, ensuring accurate analysis, strong client communication, and thorough documentation to support tax credit qualification efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during the discovery phase, leading discovery calls and managing follow-ups
- Provide a high level of professionalism, discretion, and responsiveness in all client interactions
- Analyze and review client activities to assess eligibility under IRC Section 41 guidelines
- Maintain accuracy and integrity in all data reporting and documentation
- Manage multiple client engagements simultaneously, tracking outstanding items and ensuring timely completion
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure seamless communication and data management
- Maintain organized and detailed documentation systems for all client engagements
- Ensure confidentiality and proper handling of sensitive client information
Requirements include:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred
Experience:
- Prior experience in client-facing roles, data analysis, or tax-related environments preferred
- Experience working with multi-entity or multi-year data sets is a plus
Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively
- Excellent organizational and documentation skills
- Proficiency with technical tools and data management systems
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Certifications:
- Not required; relevant certifications in tax, accounting, or data analysis are a plus
