Position Overview
Search Solution Group is seeking a driven, relationship-focused Account Development Professional to help expand and strengthen our client partnerships. This role is responsible for developing new business opportunities within existing accounts, identifying cross-sell opportunities, and supporting the growth of SSG’s service offerings across multiple practice areas.
The ideal candidate is energetic, confident on the phone, and passionate about building long-term client relationships while delivering exceptional service. This is a high-visibility, revenue-impacting role within a fast-growing national headhunting firm.
Key Responsibilities
Client Growth & Relationship Management
- Build and strengthen relationships with key decision-makers across assigned accounts.
- Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities for SSG’s service lines (Executive Search, Professional Recruiting, HR Consulting, etc.).
- Conduct weekly touch points with existing clients to understand upcoming hiring needs, business changes, and strategic priorities.
- Maintain a deep understanding of client industries, operations, and talent challenges.
Business Development
- Support the Sales and Delivery teams by identifying new business opportunities within the current client base.
- Prepare and deliver capability overviews, service presentations, and value-add updates to clients.
- Collaborate with Practice Leaders and Recruiters to develop targeted strategies for account expansion.
- Track and report pipeline activities, revenue opportunities, and growth progress.
Internal Collaboration
- Partner closely with Recruiters and Account Managers to ensure seamless client communication and exceptional delivery.
- Provide feedback from clients to internal teams to enhance recruiting strategies and client satisfaction.
- Contribute to SSG’s culture of responsiveness, follow-through, and excellence in communication.
Performance & Accountability
- Meet weekly activity metrics, including calls, touch points, account reviews, and revenue targets.
- Maintain accurate documentation in CRM (HubSpot) and internal systems.
- Continuously improve knowledge of SSG’s service offerings and differentiators in the recruiting market.
Qualifications
- 2 years of experience in account management, sales, recruiting, or client-facing roles.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport quickly with executives and HR leaders.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities.
- Self-motivated with a competitive drive and strong follow-up discipline.
- Experience in staffing, recruiting, or professional services strongly preferred.
