What are the responsibilities and job description for the Travel Speech Language Pathologist - Weekly Pay position at Seacrest Behavioral Health?
Role: A Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating communication and swallowing disorders across diverse patient populations.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, utilize standardized assessments, monitor patient progress, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams. Educate patients, families, and caregivers on communication strategies and safety practices while maintaining accurate documentation and adhering to safety protocols. Engage in quality improvement and professional growth activities.
Qualifications & Skills: Valid state licensure, current BLS certification, critical thinking, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, proficiency in PC use, physical ability to perform necessary movements, and the capacity to work effectively under pressure. Experience in speech therapy is preferred, but new graduates are welcome.
Key Duties: Conduct assessments, design therapy programs, adjust treatments, educate stakeholders, ensure a safe environment, and perform any additional duties within scope of practice.
