Role Overview: The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) supports the interdisciplinary team by delivering high-quality, person-centered physical therapy care under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.

- Implement and modify treatment plans, assist with exercises, mobility training, and therapeutic interventions.
- Educate participants and families on safety, home exercises, and injury prevention to promote independence.
- Monitor and document participant progress, communicate changes, and ensure safety and infection control protocols.
- Support participant transfers, maintain equipment, and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
- Assist in supervision of students or interns and participate in team meetings and projects.
- Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
- Current state license or eligibility for licensure.
- Experience with elderly or frail populations preferred; training provided if not.
- Strong communication, rapport-building, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse teams and manage caseloads efficiently.
