Role: Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) for travel assignment.
Responsibilities: Provide surgical patient care by assessing, planning, and implementing nursing care before, during, and after surgery. Serve as patient educator, circulating nurse, or scrub nurse, handling sterile instruments and equipment as needed.
Qualifications: Active RN license, degree from an accredited nursing program, at least 18 months of recent experience in an acute care surgery setting, and BLS & ACLS certifications. Additional requirements may be specified by the facility.
Skills: Strong assessment, planning, and perioperative care skills, ability to work in sterile and non-sterile roles within the OR, and excellent patient education abilities.
Key Duties: Deliver comprehensive surgical nursing care, collaborate with surgical teams, and ensure patient safety throughout perioperative phases.
