Role: Provides direct nursing care in emergency settings, performing complex assessments and interventions according to organizational policies.
Responsibilities: Collects comprehensive patient data, triages based on age and cultural sensitivity, analyzes assessments to identify issues, sets individualized outcomes, implements and coordinates care, educates patients, evaluates progress, and communicates effectively. Demonstrates leadership, applies evidence-based practices, and maintains safety awareness.
Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited nursing program with no prior experience required.
Skills & Physical Requirements: Constant communication, standing, walking, and data entry; frequent lifting up to 25 lbs; occasional heavier lifting and patient movement; vision, hearing, smell utilization; ability to perform bending, stooping, and other physical movements.
Licenses & Certifications: Valid RN license in respective state, BLS, and ALS or equivalent certifications such as ENPC, PALS, or TNCC, as required by state.
