- Building rapport with donors to ensure satisfaction.
- Maintaining donor and staff confidentiality.
- Providing health education and counseling on test results.
- Managing donor injuries and adverse events.
- Evaluating illness history and medication use for continued suitability.
- Assisting in employee training and administering hepatitis vaccinations.
- Certified/licensed as EMT-Basic, EMT-Advanced, Paramedic, RN, LPN, or LVN, with current CPR certification.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, sitting, bending, lifting, and reaching.
- Good communication, hearing, and visual acuity.
- Ability to work independently, handle sensitive information, and adapt to variable demands.
- Exposure to biological fluids and cold environments with appropriate PPE.
