About the Role:
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Paralegal to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess substantial experience in No-Fault and NSA (No Surprises Act) arbitration and medical claims. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple cases efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and file arbitration demands and supporting documentation with the appropriate forums * Review and analyze medical records, insurance denials, and Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) * Manage case files, maintain accurate records, and track deadlines * Communicate professionally with clients, medical providers, attorneys, and insurance carriers * Assist attorneys with case preparation, research, and document production
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in NSA arbitration and medical claim processing * Knowledge of New Jersey Arbitration and/or NSA laws and procedures * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines * Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal case management software * Paralegal certificate or relevant degree preferred

- Assist with document review, drafting legal documents, contracts, and pleadings with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Manage legal case files using document management systems such as iManage and PCLaw; ensure proper filing and organization.
- Support attorneys in project management tasks related to estate planning, landlord-tenant issues, workers' compensation law, personal injury cases, and tribal law & regulations.
- Perform data entry and maintain meticulous records of client information and case progress.
- Conduct interviews with clients and witnesses to gather pertinent information for cases.
- Proofread and transcribe legal documents to ensure clarity and correctness.
- Assist with administrative tasks including filing, document management, and clerical support within the law office.
- Maintain professional phone etiquette when communicating with clients and external parties.
- Support litigation efforts through document review, case preparation, and coordination of discovery processes.
Requirements
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining accuracy.
- Strong writing skills for drafting legal documents and correspondence.
- Experience with document review, proofreading, transcription, and contract preparation.
- Familiarity with legal administrative processes such as filing, data entry, document management systems, and clerical support.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional communication skills including professional phone etiquette.
