Legal Secretary/Paralegal needed. Established, insurance defense firm located in Edison, NJ is seeking a Legal Secretary/Paralegal with 2 years experience to support multiple attorneys with high volume caseload.
Ideal candidate must possess strong communication and organizational skills; ability to prioritize and work independently as well as part of a team. The position also requires excellent computer skills to work with state of the art applications including fluency in Outlook and Word.
Core duties and responsibilities include file review, status, preparing correspondence, discovery and pleadings, scheduling depositions, IME's as well as managing incoming mail. The ability to follow through and follow up is critical. Knowledge of court rules and procedures is required.
This is a friendly environment for someone who is highly energetic, has a good work ethic and is detail oriented. Bachelor degree is preferred. Paralegal certification is a plus.
