Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning Technician

Position Summary

The HVAC Service Technician will be responsible for diagnosing, servicing, repairing, and installing heating and air conditioning systems in residential and multifamily properties.

This role requires strong troubleshooting ability, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in the field.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems (split systems, heat pumps, mini-splits)
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues efficiently
• Perform full system change-outs and equipment replacements
• Work on heat pump conversions and multi-unit apartment projects
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Ensure all work complies with California building codes
• Communicate professionally with homeowners, property managers, and team members
• Maintain clean and safe job sites
• Complete service reports and documentation accurately

Qualifications

• 3 years HVAC field experience preferred
• Valid California Driver’s License with clean driving record
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Experience with residential and multifamily systems
• Heat pump experience highly preferred
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in attics/crawl spaces
