Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technician to join our team. Responsibilities
- Install, service, and repair HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and ventilation systems.
- Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC design plans to accurately diagnose issues and implement solutions.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as filter replacements, system calibrations, and equipment inspections to prevent breakdowns.
- Troubleshoot complex mechanical problems using tools like ohmmeters and welding equipment; conduct electrical testing as needed.
- Conduct plumbing work related to HVAC systems, including pipe fitting and ammonia refrigeration repairs for specialized applications.
- Maintain detailed service records, work orders, and inspection reports to ensure compliance with safety standards and operational procedures.
- Assist in property maintenance projects by providing mechanical expertise on appliances, field service tasks, and equipment repairs.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an HVAC technician or service technician with a solid understanding of HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration) systems.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in construction environments or property maintenance settings.
- Ability to read schematics and interpret HVAC design plans accurately; familiarity with plumbing and refrigeration systems is highly desirable.
- Experience with ammonia refrigeration systems or boiler operation is a plus; certification as a
driver or similar licensing is preferred. - Competence in using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters; welding skills and appliance repair experience are advantageous.
- Knowledge of electrical systems related to HVAC equipment; ability to perform equipment repair and maintenance tasks efficiently.

Pay: $25.68 - $40.00 per hour
