Distribution Driver

SeaBear Company is seeking a dedicated driver to transport refrigerated goods between Anacortes and the Seattle/Kent area. This full-time, year-round position offers a schedule of Monday through Thursday, 5am – 3pm, with some overtime and occasional Fridays as needed.

This position is based at our production facility in Anacortes, WA and will report to the Distribution Manager.

This role involves approximately 25-30 hours of driving each week and 8-10 hours working within our distribution section. The starting wage for this position is between $21.00 to $23.00 per hour.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver and pick up refrigerated goods to companies, vendors, and customers
• Ensure the container is properly chilled, accurately record temperatures, and complete all necessary transportation records
• Ensures proper maintenance, documentation, and general upkeep of truck
• Assist in distribution by picking, packing, and shipping orders for both wholesale and direct-to-consumer customers

Requirements:

• Safely operate a 16ft refrigerated box truck (no CDL required)
• Provide documentation of a safe driving record from WA DOL and pass a background check
• Hold a proper and valid driver's license and meet insurance requirements

Working Conditions:

• Sitting for 2-4 hour periods at a time
• Lifting and moving boxes weighing up to 50lbs
• Manual dexterity to operate functional tools of vehicle, including loading/unloading with pallet jack
• Full range of motion for pushing, pulling, twisting, stooping, reaching, grasping associated items
