Housekeeping-Support Person

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Support Person to join our team. Sea Mist resort is a 90 unit timeshare resort located on the way to New Seabury and South Cape Beach in Mashpee. The ideal candidate will have experience in the function of a housekeeping department in a hospitality space. The ideal candidate will support the individual housekeepers during the busy check out times. This job is considered Full Time at 32 hours to qualify for full benefits. Days required are Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Fridays from 8:00 am till 4:30 pm. This job requires holidays hours when applicable. Sea Mist Resort is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver clean linen bags to units checking out. Return dirty linens to laundry
• Remove trash from checked out units and advise Maintenance staff of any issues
• Deliver supplies and housekeeping related equipment as directed
• Replace inventory as directed
• Refill containers with appropriate cleaning liquids and make ready for next day
• Assist Housekeepers when needed and as directed by supervisor
• Work in a safe and efficient manner
• Clean equipment as needed or as directed by supervisor
• Clean entryways and patios/decks as needed or directed by supervisor
• Clean exercise room and guest laundry as scheduled
• Remove all trash from housekeeping department at end of day
• Keep housekeeping van clean and gassed as needed. Immediately report any issues or safety concerns regarding the vehicle
• Have a neat appearance and attire
• Perform all duties in all types of weather
• Respect the rights and property of guests and other employees.
• Performance of other duties related to housekeeping as directed by management

Knowledge, Skills, and Physical Requirement:

• A physical ability to perform the required duties of the job
• The personal skills to deal courteously with guests and other employees
• Manual dexterity and coordination to safely and efficiently perform the following: standing, sitting, bending, lifting up to 50 pounds, twisting, entering and exiting the resort van, pushing, pulling, walking, and using stairs
• Must be able to communicate with guests and other staff
• A valid, unexpired drivers license
