Boutique, mission-driven private-equity firm headquartered in Boston is looking for a candidate to step into a dynamic Controller role.
This opportunity is ideally starting as a temp-to-perm role, allowing the team to get a talented individual in the seat quickly, but the long term goal is that the person will convert and stay on permanently in the role.
This is a small firm, with a fantastic leadership team and a collective mission of sustainable investing. Headquartered in Boston, this person could work mostly remote AFTER an initial training period of a few weeks.
Candidates should have 10 - 25 years of private equity accounting experience, prior experience as a Controller, and a desire to make an impact in a unique firm.
Qualifications:
- BS, Accounting / Finance
- CPA a plus
- 10 - 25 years of accounting experience; up to Controllership level
- Extensive experience in private equity / hedge fund / wealth management
- Strong financial reporting, month end close, and valuation experience
- Experience in a hands-on role, leading a small team
- Eager to stay and grow long-term with the firm
- Available to start ASAP on a temp - to - perm basis
