The Liquor Inventory Specialist is responsible for monitoring, tracking, and managing all liquor and alcohol-related inventory. This position ensures accurate inventory counts, prevents loss and overuse, and supports efficient bar operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and has experience in bar operations or inventory management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform weekly and monthly inventory counts of all liquor, wine, beer, and related beverage items.
- Record and reconcile inventory levels using inventory software or spreadsheets.
- Identify variances between physical counts and POS reports; investigate and report discrepancies.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of storage areas, including liquor rooms and overstock
- Work with management to develop and maintain inventory control procedures and loss prevention strategies.
- Provide reporting and recommendations to improve efficiency and reduce waste or theft.
Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Ability to lift and move cases of liquor or beer (up to 50 lbs).
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Knowledge of liquor brands, types, and bar operations is a plus.
- Must be 21 years or older (in accordance with local liquor laws).
Working Conditions:
- Must be available early mornings or off-hours for accurate inventory counts.
- Occasional long hours, evenings, weekends, or holidays may be required.
