The Vault at SCW Liquors in Callahan, FL is looking for one bar security to join our 9 person strong team. Our ideal candidate is attentive, punctual, and engaged. 21 ONLY!
1. Roles and Responsibilities
Security Staff Must:
- Monitor entrances, exits, and interior spaces of the venue.
- Check IDs and enforce legal age restrictions (21 ).
- Respond to altercations or emergencies calmly and professionally.
- Remove patrons exhibiting violent, aggressive, or unsafe behavior.
- Work closely with management and local law enforcement if necessary.
- Maintain a visible and approachable presence while on duty.
2. Entry Policies
- All patrons must present valid, government-issued photo ID for entry.
- No weapons, drugs, or outside alcohol allowed on the premises.
- Visibly intoxicated individuals may be denied entry.
- Dress code enforcement should be consistent and respectful.
3. Code of Conduct
- Security personnel must treat all guests and staff with respect and professionalism.
- Use of force is only permitted when absolutely necessary for protection.
- De-escalation techniques must always be prioritized.
- Profiling, discrimination, or harassment will result in disciplinary action or termination.
- Confidentiality of incidents, patron information, or internal discussions must be maintained.
4. Emergency Procedures
- Security must be familiar with emergency exits, evacuation procedures, and the location of first aid kits and fire extinguishers.
- In case of a medical emergency, notify management and call 911 if necessary.
- Report all threats, suspicious behavior, or hazards to management immediately.
5. Communication and Coordination
- All staff must cooperate with security during incidents or emergencies.
- Any staff concerns about security matters should be directed to management or the head of security.
6. Training Requirements
- All security personnel must complete training in:
- Conflict resolution and de-escalation
- Crowd control and ejection procedures
