What you'll do
- Assess, plan, and deliver care for pre- and post-procedure cardiac patients
- Monitor telemetry and titrate cardiac medications per protocol
- Coordinate care with cardiology, cath lab, and cardiac rehab teams
- Educate patients and families on cardiac diagnoses and home care
- Precept new hires and nursing students rotating through the unit
- Current Nebraska RN license or active compact state license
- BLS and ACLS certification required
- 1 years of cardiac, ICU, or telemetry experience preferred
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
