Estimating Engineer – Industrial Construction
Estimating Engineer opportunity supporting industrial construction projects with a growing and well-established construction team. This role will work closely with preconstruction and operations teams to assist with budgeting, estimating, subcontractor coordination, and bid preparation across a variety of industrial projects.
Projects may include manufacturing facilities, processing plants, distribution centers, warehouses, tilt wall facilities, PEMB structures, and other large-scale industrial construction work.
Responsibilities
- Assist with budgeting, estimating, and preconstruction efforts for industrial construction projects
- Review drawings, specifications, and bid documents to support accurate project estimates
- Perform quantity takeoffs and scope analysis for assigned trades and project components
- Solicit subcontractors and suppliers, distribute bid information, and help coordinate bid coverage
- Analyze subcontractor and vendor quotations to support competitive and accurate pricing
- Work closely with preconstruction and operations teams throughout the estimating process
- Maintain relationships with subcontractors, vendors, and material suppliers
- Support bid leveling, scope reviews, and proposal development efforts
- Assist with maintaining subcontractor and vendor databases
- Help identify project risks, scope gaps, and value engineering opportunities during preconstruction
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
- Proven interest in industrial construction and estimating
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Experience with Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, or similar construction software
- Internship or prior estimating/preconstruction experience with a general contractor preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented construction environment

Salary : $75,000 - $90,000
