We are seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Superintendent to lead large-scale ground-up commercial projects throughout the Phoenix market. This role is responsible for overseeing all field operations, maintaining project schedules, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
The ideal candidate has experience managing complex commercial construction projects valued between $25M and $80M , including industrial, mixed-use, hospitality, office, education, or large retail developments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all on-site construction operations from mobilization through project completion
- Coordinate subcontractors, site logistics, manpower, inspections, and sequencing
- Develop and maintain project schedules in collaboration with the project management team
- Enforce OSHA and company safety standards across all jobsite activities
- Conduct subcontractor coordination meetings and daily field planning
- Monitor quality control and ensure work complies with plans, specifications, and project standards
- Identify and proactively resolve field conflicts and scheduling challenges
- Maintain strong communication with project managers, owners, architects, and inspectors
- Manage punch list completion, turnover, and closeout activities
Qualifications
- 8 years of experience as a Superintendent on commercial construction projects
- Proven experience managing ground-up projects valued at $25M
- Strong understanding of commercial construction methods, sequencing, and scheduling
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, and scheduling software
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- OSHA 30 certification preferred
Salary : $100,000 - $145,000
