General Accountant (Accounts Receivable Focus)

What You’ll Do

• Manage daily Accounts Receivable activities including invoicing, payment application, and deposits

• Prepare and process credit card payments and bank deposits

• Communicate with customers on outstanding balances and account inquiries

• Support invoicing workflows, including customer portals and shipment tracking

• Assist with Accounts Payable tasks and reconcile statements as needed

• Prepare and distribute monthly commission reports

• Ensure accurate recordkeeping and compliance with internal controls

• Handle administrative tasks such as mail distribution and bank errands

What You Bring

• 2–5 years of accounting experience, with a focus on Accounts Receivable

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles (GAAP preferred)

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently

• Experience with ERP/accounting systems (preferred)

• Familiarity with compliance standards (SOX is a plus)

• Associate’s degree in Accounting or related field (Bachelor’s preferred)
