Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Real Estate Development | Capital Markets | Investment Strategy
A privately held real estate development and investment firm is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to lead financial strategy, capital markets execution, and overall financial operations.
This executive will serve as a strategic partner to the CEO and leadership team, responsible for structuring project financing, managing institutional capital relationships, and driving long-term financial performance across a growing real estate portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead finance, accounting, treasury, and capital markets strategy
• Structure and negotiate debt and equity financing for development projects
• Manage relationships with banks, lenders, institutional investors, and capital partners
• Evaluate development opportunities, capital stacks, and investment returns
• Oversee financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance
• Develop and execute long-term capital strategy and balance sheet management
Qualifications
• 15 years of financial leadership experience within real estate development, real estate investment, or private real estate platforms
• Deep expertise in real estate capital markets, project finance, and capital stack structuring
• Experience negotiating debt facilities, joint ventures, and equity investments
• Strong executive presence with experience advising CEO/Board level leadership
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Real Estate, or related discipline
