Scion Technology has been engaged to conduct a search for an experienced Senior Infrastructure Engineer for our client, a world-class AI infrastructure solutions company in San Francisco! This is a full-time, direct hire position with a hybrid schedule in San Francisco.

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data center infrastructure tooling, including asset management, deployment automation, and operational dashboards.
- Lead automation initiatives to enhance infrastructure resilience, efficiency, and scalability as the data center footprint grows.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver reliable, high-performance solutions that meet operational and engineering needs.
- Support build vs. buy decisions, ensuring selection of optimal technologies for automation, monitoring, and management.
- Mentor peers, uphold best practices, and drive continuous improvement in infrastructure automation, architecture, and development workflows.
- Proven experience (5 years) in building and deploying scalable, distributed systems using Go, Rust, Java, C , or similar.
- Strong hands-on expertise with NetBox or comparable data center infrastructure management tools.
- Proficiency in containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), automation tools (Ansible, Terraform), and CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, GitHub Actions, CircleCI).
- Deep understanding of data structures, concurrency, network programming, and Unix/Linux environments.
- Experience with data center tooling, DCIM concepts, and infrastructure automation.
