What are the responsibilities and job description for the Registered Nurse position at Scion Staffing?
Scion Nonprofit Staffing has been engaged to conduct an immediate search for a Registered Nurse for our client, a highly regarded non-profit organization in Seattle, Washington! This is a wonderful full-time, direct-hire position with a comprehensive benefits package.
What you'll be doing:
- Deliver compassionate, culturally responsive in-home nursing care to older adults
- Perform comprehensive assessments addressing physical health, functional status, psychosocial needs, and home safety
- Support chronic disease management, medication adherence, preventive care, and immunizations within scope of practice
- Educate patients and caregivers using strengths-based, respectful, and culturally relevant approaches
- Build trusting relationships with patients and families grounded in dignity and shared decision-making
- Identify social determinants of health and coordinate referrals to community and social support services
- Advocate for patients and support care coordination across providers
- Accurately document clinical care in the electronic health record (EHR) in a timely manner
- Support daily clinical operations, including patient intake, screenings, referrals, and clinic flow
- Perform phlebotomy, specimen collection, and laboratory processing in accordance with safety and quality standards
Qualifications:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Phlebotomy experience
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to patient homes
Compensation:
This position offers a salary range of $108,000-$120,000 annually plus a comprehensive benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision insurance, continuing education credit annually, five weeks of paid time off a year, 10 sick days, retirement benefits, and more!
