Legal Assistant

Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Temporary Legal Assistant for a respected, mission-driven legal services organization dedicated to expanding access to justice for underserved and diverse communities. This is an onsite position based in Longview, Washington. This will be a full time 6-week contract opportunity.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

This temporary Legal Assistant will provide essential administrative and case support to a collaborative legal team during a staff leave. The role is fast-paced and highly organized, supporting attorneys with document preparation, case coordination, and client communication. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is detail-oriented, adaptable, and values working in a service-driven environment supporting equitable access to legal resources.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide administrative and case support to attorneys and legal staff
• Prepare, organize, and maintain legal documents and case files
• Assist with court filings and related processes
• Coordinate client communication and scheduling
• Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Support day-to-day office operations and team needs

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

This position offers a competitive hourly rate of $33 per hour. This will be a full time 6-week contract opportunity.
