Hybrid CPA – Senior Accountant

Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Hybrid CPA – Senior Accountant for a respected, technology-driven professional services organization. This is a hybrid role working Monday–Friday, with remote flexibility and two onsite days per week at the organization’s office in Allentown, PA.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

This role supports a growing Accounting & Tax Services practice within a consulting-focused environment that blends accounting, technology, and advisory services. The Hybrid CPA – Senior Accountant will lead client-facing accounting initiatives, including system conversions, advisory projects, and ongoing financial support. This position is ideal for an experienced CPA looking to move beyond traditional tax preparation into a dynamic, relationship-driven role.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead and support accounting software conversions and system implementations
• Review client financials and recommend cleanup or process improvements
• Provide accounting, tax, and advisory support across diverse client engagements
• Analyze financial reports to support budgeting, forecasting, and operational decision-making
• Perform bookkeeping, general ledger maintenance, and compliance-related reviews
• Partner with clients to deliver high-quality service and long-term solutions

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Active CPA or Enrolled Agent (EA) credential
• Strong accounting and advisory experience within a client-facing or professional services environment
• Deep working knowledge of QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop; familiarity with Zoho Books and Sage is a plus
• Advanced Excel skills with strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities
• Ability to lead projects from planning through completion with clear communication; experience with software implementations, project management, or ERP/inventory systems is a plus

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
