POSITION OVERVIEW
The HR Generalist will perform a broad range of human resources functions, supporting employee relations, recruitment, benefits administration, compliance, and performance management. This role serves as a key partner to leadership and employees, helping to foster a positive workplace culture while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, onsite environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and employment matters
- Conduct workplace investigations and recommend appropriate resolutions
- Support managers with coaching, performance improvement plans, and disciplinary actions
- Partner with hiring managers to support full-cycle recruitment and onboarding processes
- Coordinate job postings, interviews, and candidate communications
- Conduct new hire onboarding and orientation, ensuring completion of required documentation
- Administer employee benefits programs and support open enrollment processes
- Manage leave administration, including FMLA, ADA, and applicable state leaves
- Maintain compliance with employment laws, including FLSA, FMLA, ACA, ADA, and EEOC regulations
- Maintain accurate personnel records and ensure HRIS data integrity
- Support audits, reporting, and HR metrics tracking
- Assist with performance management, employee development, and training initiatives
- Support payroll coordination and timekeeping compliance
- Contribute to HR projects and organizational initiatives
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field preferred (relevant experience considered in lieu of degree)
- 2–3 years of experience in an HR Generalist or HR Specialist role
- HR certification such as SHRM-CP or PHR is a plus
- Strong knowledge of HR principles, employment laws, and compliance regulations
- Experience with HRIS systems (e.g., UKG) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage confidential information with discretion
- Strong problem-solving, conflict resolution, and time management skills
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
This position offers a base salary of $65,000–$75,000 annually, along with a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k), paid time off, supplemental health insurance, and opportunities for career growth.
