- Lead the transformation of machine learning infrastructure from prototype to production, helping redefine the future of neurotechnology
- Lead the development and transition of our ML codebase from prototype to scalable, production-quality infrastructure.
- Architect and build robust training pipelines, evaluation frameworks, and internal tooling to enable the team to train over one model per week.
- Drive technical decisions around machine learning algorithms, training methodologies, and infrastructure architecture.
- Manage, mentor, and collaborate with engineering team members to ensure high coding standards and best practices.
- Develop demo prototypes with comprehensive user experience and UI to showcase model capabilities.
- Collaborate closely with research and product teams to integrate new insights and ensure seamless deployment.
- Proven experience in developing large-scale machine learning and data infrastructure.
- Startup or early-stage company experience, especially in founding or scaling engineering teams.
- Strong academic background in Computer Science, AI, or related fields. Top-tier degrees or outstanding academic achievements are a plus.
- Demonstrated leadership in managing engineering teams under pressure, with excellent communication skills.
- Hands-on expertise with modern AI coding tools (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor) and at least 2 years of traditional software development experience.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, with a passion for innovation and problem-solving.
