Scion Nonprofit Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Education Governance Consultant for a mission-driven education-focused nonprofit organization. This is a hybrid role based in Sacramento, CA, with a minimum of three days onsite and two days remote, plus travel throughout California.

The Education Governance Consultant will design and deliver high-impact governance consulting and training services to school district and county board leadership teams. This role focuses on strengthening governance practices, facilitating board development, and aligning leadership teams around student achievement outcomes. The ideal candidate brings strong facilitation, consulting, and stakeholder engagement skills within education or nonprofit governance environments.

- Ability to analyze complex challenges and communicate solutions clearly to diverse audiences
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and virtual facilitation tools
