Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Director, Strategic Partnerships for a globally recognized mission-driven organization dedicated to advancing philanthropic impact. This is a hybrid opportunity based in either the New York/Connecticut area, with onsite expectations.
POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Director, Strategic Partnerships will play a key role in expanding philanthropic support, strategic alliances, and stakeholder engagement on a global scale. This highly visible position will work closely with executive leadership to cultivate and steward relationships with donors, foundations, corporations, family offices, and other mission-aligned partners. The ideal candidate is a relationship-driven professional with experience building strategic partnerships, securing funding opportunities, and driving organizational growth through external engagement.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and execute strategic partnership and fundraising initiatives that support organizational growth and mission advancement
- Identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward relationships with major donors, foundations, corporate partners, family offices, and key stakeholders
- Build and manage a robust pipeline of partnership and funding opportunities
- Collaborate cross-functionally with leadership and program teams to align partnership efforts with organizational priorities
- Represent the organization at meetings, conferences, events, and networking opportunities
- Track partnership activity, maintain relationship data, and provide reporting on fundraising and business development outcomes
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Demonstrated success in strategic partnerships, fundraising, business development, external relations, or related functions
- Experience managing and cultivating relationships with senior-level stakeholders, donors, foundations, corporations, or philanthropic organizations
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to operate effectively in complex, fast-paced, and cross-functional environments
- Willingness and ability to travel globally and maintain flexibility to support international collaboration across time zones
