Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for Director of Revenue Cycle Management for a rapidly growing healthcare services organization. This is a fully onsite position located in Niles, IL.
POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Director of Revenue Cycle Management will lead and optimize billing, collections, and accounts receivable operations for a fast-scaling home care organization experiencing significant year-over-year growth. This role is highly strategic, responsible for improving cash flow, reducing days in AR, and implementing best-in-class processes across the revenue cycle. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who can build structure, drive accountability, and partner cross-functionally with payroll and executive leadership.
PERKS:

- Implement and optimize processes to reduce AR days and improve cash flow performance
- Develop, track, and report on KPIs to drive accountability and operational efficiency
- Manage and restructure a team of 10–12 staff, aligning resources across billing/collections and payroll
- Collaborate closely with payroll to ensure alignment between billable and payable hours
- Resolve complex claims issues and ensure compliance with Medicare, Medicaid, and payer requirements
- Strong background in home care revenue cycle management
- Deep knowledge of Medicare billing and reimbursement processes
- Proven leadership experience managing and developing teams
- Experience establishing KPIs, reporting metrics, and driving performance improvements
- Familiarity with EMR systems such as Axiscare or Axxess is a plus
