Director of Business Administration

Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct an immediate search for a Director of Business Administration for a highly respected organization based in Glendale, California. This is an exciting, full-time, contract, onsite opportunity for a hands-on operational leader to step in and provide critical support across business, HR, and financial functions during a key leadership leave.

Position Overview

The Director of Business Administration will report directly to the General Counsel and serve as a key operational partner supporting a team of approximately 30 employees. This individual will take ownership of day-to-day business operations, ensuring continuity across payroll, accounts payable, expense management, and HR processes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage day-to-day business operations, including payroll, accounts payable, and expense processes
• Support HR operations, including employee records, onboarding coordination, and compliance-related processes
• Partner cross-functionally to ensure operational efficiency across departments
• Maintain and improve systems, workflows, and reporting processes
• Ensure accuracy, organization, and compliance across all administrative functions
• Utilize Excel and internal systems to track data, generate reports, and support decision-making
• Step in as a reliable operational lead, ensuring continuity during leadership transition

Qualifications

• 6–10 years of experience in business operations, HR operations, or administrative leadership roles
• Demonstrated experience with payroll, AP, and expense management processes

Compensation & Benefits

This position offers a competitive pay rate of $72/hour plus a comprehensive benefits package!
