Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Controller for a well-established Nashville-based hospitality group. This role is onsite in Nashville, TN.
POSITION OVERVIEW:
This interim Controller will oversee all financial operations for a multi-venue hospitality organization, ensuring accurate reporting, compliance, and strong accounting workflows. The role supports leadership with cash flow management, budgeting, and financial analysis across multiple properties. This is a hands-on assignment with the potential to transition into a long-term opportunity.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting across multiple venues and entities
- Manage accounting operations including AP/AR, payroll, general ledger, treasury, and cash flow
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support organizational goals
- Partner with venue leaders to strengthen financial performance and streamline processes
- Maintain internal controls while managing audits and ensuring regulatory compliance
- Support improvements to financial systems, integrations, and reporting capabilities
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Strong background in accounting and finance, ideally within hospitality
- Experience cleaning up books for year-end close and cash flow oversight
- Skilled in financial reporting and multi-entity accounting operations
- Familiarity with POS/PMS and modern accounting systems
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
This temporary role offers $50 per hour. Additional benefits may be available depending on assignment length and client provisions.
