Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct an immediate search for an Accounts Payable Specialist for a well-established organization based onsite in San Francisco, California. This is a temporary opportunity supporting a busy accounting team with critical workload needs.
POSITION OVERVIEW
The Accounts Payable Specialist will support day-to-day accounts payable operations, including invoice processing, vendor reconciliation, and assisting with backlog clearance. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who can work independently, manage deadlines, and quickly contribute in a fast-paced environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Process invoices accurately and in a timely manner
- Assist with vendor reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
- Support clearing backlog of outstanding payables
- Assist with month-end close activities as needed
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
- Collaborate with accounting team to ensure smooth workflow
QUALIFICATIONS
- 1–3 years of accounts payable experience
- Experience with invoice and payment processing
- Strong proficiency in Excel and accounting systems
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
This position offers an hourly pay rate of $38 per hour. This is a temporary assignment, with the possibility of extension based on business needs.
