Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Contract Litigation Attorney on behalf of a well-established and highly respected legal services client. This is a contract position based in Cincinnati, Ohio, with the flexibility to operate in a hybrid work model.
Position Overview
The Contract Litigation Attorney will provide hands-on litigation support to senior-level attorneys, assisting with core litigation functions, case preparation, and day-to-day legal tasks. This role is ideal for a dependable litigation attorney who can step in quickly, manage foundational litigation responsibilities independently, and perform effectively in a fast-paced, professional law firm environment.
This position reports to a Senior Partner and supports one to two attorneys focused on intellectual property and trademark matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and organize litigation-related pleadings and legal documents
- Support senior attorneys with case preparation and ongoing litigation matters
- Conduct legal research and summarize findings clearly and concisely
- Manage filings, deadlines, and basic case administration
- Collaborate closely with attorneys to ensure timely and accurate work product
- Maintain professionalism in a client-facing environment
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of litigation experience in any practice area
- Ability to independently handle foundational litigation tasks
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Reliable, dependable, and able to work effectively in a hybrid work environment
- Professional written and verbal communication skills
