Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Personal Injury Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for representing clients who have been injured due to the negligence of others, and will work diligently to ensure they receive the compensation they deserve. The attorney will handle a variety of cases, provide legal advice, and guide clients through the legal process with compassion and expertise.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate personal injury claims and provide legal counsel to clients.
- Conduct thorough legal research and draft legal documents, including pleadings and motions.
- Negotiate settlements with insurance companies and opposing counsel on behalf of clients.
- Represent clients in court during trials and hearings, presenting evidence and arguments effectively.
- Maintain a caseload and ensure that all deadlines and legal requirements are met in a timely manner.
- Develop case strategies and prepare clients for depositions and trial.
- Provide client counseling and support throughout the legal process, ensuring they understand their options.
- Jurisdictions license to practice law and a JD from an accredited law school.
- Experience in personal injury law and a strong understanding of relevant legal principles.
- Proficient in contract law, litigation, negotiation, and legal writing.
- Knowledge of criminal law, civil law, corporate law, intellectual property, family law, and regulatory compliance is a plus.
- Excellent mediation skills and experience in trial preparation.
- Strong legal analysis and client counseling abilities.
