Quality & Safety Technician

Experience-

1-2 Years of related field experience

Duties-

This position is responsible for the quality control for the Hazleton, PA plant. The Quality Technician is responsible for maintaining the quality and reliability of products and services in the plant. This person inspects and test products at various stages in the production process. This person is responsible for training others, documenting/reporting, and analyzing data. Regarding quality within the plant. The person in this role should suggest changes on how to improve quality. This person ensures that SCS and consumer specs and standards are met as well as ensuring OSHA compliance at all times. This person is responsible for working side by side with the Quality Manager ensuring all tasks are complete on time and all documents are up to date and in compliance.

Qualifications-

• Ability to translate skills and knowledge to others
• Familiarize, implement, and monitor GMP activity
• Inspect the Quality and integrity of our product
• Promote Safety through implementation of OSHA regulations

Requirements-

• Good manual dexterity.
• Can stand for long periods of time.
• Can reach within hands and arms-length, bend and stoop, walk, and stand consistently for long periods of time.
• Can lift up to 50 lbs.
• Can withstand manufacturing working conditions.

Education/Certifications/Skills-

• High School Diploma
• Industry Certification a plus
