Position Summary
The Concrete Crew Member is responsible for designing and building concrete forms and ensures smooth, finished surfaces that meet Company standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepares concrete mixtures and pours into forms or directly onto the ground
- Constructs and forms shape of concrete structures
- Install and tie rebar and wire mesh
- Smooths and levels concrete surfaces using various tools
- Follows safety procedures; wears appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) supplied by the Company
- Loads, unloads, and transports concrete materials and equipment
- Operates hand and power tools, such as shovels, rakes, and saws
- Cleans construction site to eliminate possible hazards
Qualifications and Skills
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two (2) years of relevant work experience required
- OSHA training required within six (6) months of hire
- Excellent interpersonal and time management skills
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Work Environment and Physical Requirements
- Works outdoors in a non-temperature-controlled environment, with high noise levels
- Prolonged periods of walking and standing required
- Frequently required to sit, lift, pull, and push objects weighing up to 100 pounds
- Frequently required to work in cramped or confined workspaces
