Description:
We are looking for an upbeat front-office team member to join our team! The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a front desk/admin role and knowledge of Microsoft Office. This position is a key role in the team and requires attention to detail, willingness to be a team player, and prior event planning experience is a plus! This is a full-time on-site position located in Houston, TX
Primary Responsibilities:
· Answer telephone, take and relay detailed messages, screen and direct calls
· Provide information & assistance to the team members, customers, and visitors
· Monitor visitor access and maintain security awareness as needed
· General administrative and clerical support, such as keeping an organized filing system, updating records and reports, and keeping lists of office expenses and costs
· Prepare correspondence and documents; files
· Receive and sort mail and deliveries
· Assist with appointments and meetings, including organizing conferences and assisting with meeting room reservations as needed
· Help with event planning, catering for company events, meetings, and conferences
· Monitor and maintain office equipment
· Inventory, restocking, and supplies management
· Keep and maintain tidy office area
· Help with travel and hotel bookings for all team members as needed
· Handle office building maintenance requests
