What are the responsibilities and job description for the Special Education Paraprofessional position at School District of Reedsburg?
The paraprofessional working with students with special needs works to support students academically in the inclusive classroom. Individuals who are enrolled in a teacher certification position are preferred. Individuals with Spanish language skills preferred. The paraprofessional may work with students in small groups, large groups or individually. May be asked to help with routine clerical tasks and to help maintain a friendly, helpful, comfortable school climate. Communicate effectively and professionally with students, parents, teachers, principals, and co-workers.
