What are the responsibilities and job description for the Special Education Paraprofessional position at Pardeeville Elementary School?
Job Descriptions: Pardeeville Area School District is looking for part-time (5.5hrs/day) special education paraprofessionals for the Elementary School. The special education paraprofessional is responsible for assisting in the supervision, care, and tutoring of special needs students in the regular education classroom or in a resource classroom, assisting in implementing plans for instruction, and monitoring student behavior during the non-classroom time. The paraprofessional must have excellent communication skills with staff, parents, and students and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
Qualifications: License not required but candidates should be eligible for a Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction Special Education Program Aide license. Experience preferred, but not required.
