What are the responsibilities and job description for the Social Emotional Learning (SEL) Teacher position at School District of Ashland?
- A minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Education or related field;
- Educator licensure issued under Wis. Admin. Code
- Proficiency in oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to assume responsibility, display initiative, and exercise good judgment.
- Ability to perform the duties of a sensitive and confidential nature.
- Ability to forge positive relationships with students and their parents/guardians of students.
- Ability to work collegially with department staff, student services, administration, the faculty, maintenance staff, and community as needed.
- Ability to facilitate student/parent meetings as needed.
- Plan and implement lesson plans targeting Tier 1 instruction for social emotional skills
- Attend grade level meetings to discuss pertinent student information
- Other duties as assigned.
